This episode of The Five Count featured an exclusive interview with bassist Tony Levin. Tony is best known as a member of King Crimson. He’s also played with the likes of Peter Gabriel, Tom Waits, Lou Reed, David Bowie, Pink Floyd, Paul Simon, John Lennon and countless others. During the show he discussed his latest album Bringing it Down to the Bass, his memories of working on Alice Cooper’s Welcome to My Nightmare album, and his new band with Steve Vai, BEAT. See BEAT on Nov. 4 at the State Theatre in Minneapolis!

During the rest of the show we discussed Ozzy Osbourne going into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, argued over whether or not a punch in the nose counts as a trick when going door to door for Halloween, and shared tips with our older listeners about good posture. Public radio is a young man’s game!
