An Evening With Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ Pat Fraley & Renae Jacobs…

This episode of The Five Count was straight out of Dimension X, featuring two exclusive interviews with voice-over legends. First we were joined by the lovely Renae Jacobs. Renae is best known at the voice of “April O’Neil” in the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon. She also worked on shows like It’s Punky Brewster!, My Little Pony, Masters of the Maze, and the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon. During the show she discussed how she got her start in the business, the way the personalities of the cast of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles influenced the show, and the importance the show had on so many people’s lives. It was a report worthy of Channel 6 News!

Next we were joined by the one and only Pat Fraley. Pat is best known as the voices of “Krang”, “Casey Jones”, and “Baxter Stockman” in the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon. He also worked on shows like G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero, Garfield and Friends, Hulk Hogan’s Rock ‘n’ Wrestling, TaleSpin, DuckTales, and many more. During the show he discussed his early days as a voice-actor in Australia, the various voice techniques he uses for his characters, and the classes he’s teaching now to the new generation of voice-over actors. It was another tubular episode of The Five Count! Cowubunga!
