He’s also appeared in numerous films including April Love, Journey to the Center of the Earth, and State Fair. This installment of The Five Count featured an exclusive interview with CM Punk. CM Punk is a former WWE Champion, WWE World Heavyweight Champion, ECW Champion, ROH World Champion, and WWE Intercontinental Champion. He also competed in the UFC and wrote for Marvel Comics. During the show he discussed why he’ll probably never return to the wrestling ring, his current career as an actor, and the release of his new film The Girl on the Third Floor. It’s clobberin’ time!

During the rest of the show we played our favorite Halloween jams, begged for money for the KMSU pledge drive, answered a letter from a woman who needed to quickly wire 6.5 million dollars to our bank account, and learned how to prepare the perfect Moroccan meal for a dinner party from our friend Vincent Price. The Five Count Scare-O-Rama 2018…

This was our special “Scare-O-Rama 2018” edition of The Five Count. During the show we discussed which accessories our action figures would come with, whether or not 16-year-old Ton would beat up present-day Ton, tried to figure out why KMSU has so many trash cans, and listened to some spooky ghost stories. It was a monster party like no other!

The Five Count Halloween 2017…

This installment of The Five Count was our annual Halloween Spooktacular! During the show we discussed our favorite invisible men, explained the pros and cons of using candy corn in sexual situations, and tried our darnedest to rake in pledge drive dollars for our host station, KMSU-Mankato. Happy Halloween!

An Evening With Gremlins’ Zach Galligan…

This episode was The Five Count Halloween Special. In addition to all the shrieks and creaks, we were also joined for an exclusive interview with Zach Galligan. Zach is best known for his role as “Billy Peltzer” in the films Gremlins and Gremlins 2: The New Batch. He also appeared in films like Waxwork, Waxwork II: Lost in Time, Nothing Lasts Forever, and Hatchet 3. During the show he discussed how he started in the business, his new film Hatchet 3, and explained why Gremlins is actually a Christmas movie. It was hella scary!

During the rest of the show we heard a scary ghost story from Alfred Hitchcock, Ton explained how he was psychological damaged by seeing Poltergeist 2 as a child, and we played enough spooky tunes to cause Southern Minnesota to wet the bed. Happy Halloween!

An Evening With Alice Cooper’s Dennis Dunaway…

This Halloween edition of The Five Count featured an exclusive interview with musician Dennis Dunaway. Dennis is best known as the bassist for the original Alice Cooper group. He appeared on the classic albums Love It To DeathSchool’s OutBillion Dollar BabiesKillerMuscle Of Love, and is a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. During the show he discussed the origins of the Alice Cooper group, shared stories about scaring parents around the globe, and talked about being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. For a shock rocker, he was quite a gentleman!

An Evening With WWE’s Sheamus & Grim Reaper’s Steve Grimmett…

 This installment of The Five Count’s “Scare-A-Thon 2010” was filled to the brim with celebrity action as we had not one, but two exclusive interviews with huge megastars! First we were joined by singer Steve Grimmett. Steve is best known as the singer for the metal band Grim Reaper. Known for albums like See You In HellFear No Evil and Rock You To Hell, Grim Reaper has been rocking for more than 30 years. During the show he talked about being part of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, punching Def Leppard in the face, and having Grim Reaper’s music videos torn to shreds on Beavis & Butt-Head. It rocked us to hell!

After that we were joined by WWE Superstar Sheamus. Sheamus is a multi-time WWE Champion and WWE King of the Ring. He’s feuded with numerous WWE Superstars including Joghn Cena, Triple H and Randy Orton. During the show “The Celtic Warrior” discussed how he started in the wrestling business, his hatred for WWE Superstar The Miz, and his upcoming appearance at WWE’s Bragging Rights PPV in Minneapolis. It was an amazing show, fella!

An Evening With The Ghostbusters’ Ernie Hudson…

This edition of The Five Count was our second installment of “Scare-A-Thon 2010” and featured an exclusive interview with the actor Ernie Hudson. Ernie is best known for his role as “Winston Zeddemore” in the films Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters II. He’s also appeared in films like The Hand That Rocks the CradleThe CrowAirheads and Congo. During the show he discussed what it was like being one of the Ghostbusters, hanging out with Mr. T and Dolemite, and the filming of the long-awaited Ghostbusters III film. He also told us about the Twinkie!

The Five Count Live From A Haunted House…

This was a special Halloween edition of The Five Count! It also concluded our series of “on location” broadcasts that we featured throughout the month of October. We set up shop in a haunted house outside of Transylvania for the show. We told ghost stories, gazed at Ton’s chest hair, and trembled in ghastly horror as we made fun of the True Punks. Freakin’ scary!
