An Evening With Boxer Chuck Wepner & Dan “The Beast” Severn…

This installment of The Five Count was our special celebration of our great nation’s independence! The celebration included exclusive interviews with two American heroes. First was former heavyweight boxing champion Chuck Wepner. Known as the Bayonee Bleeder, Chuck is best known for going 15 rounds with then heavyweight champion Muhammad Ali in 1975. He also went toe-to-toe with guys like Sonny Liston, Ernie Terrell, and George Foreman. During the show he discussed how he started out in boxing, going the distance with Ali, and being the inspiration for Rocky Balboa. After that he announced an open challenge to Godzilla!

Next up we were joined by Dan “The Beast” Severn. Dan is a former two-time NWA World Heavyweight Champion, UFC Superfight Champion, and a member of the UFC Hall of Fame. He’s considered to be one of the pioneers of the UFC, helping make mixed martial arts what it is today. During the show he shared stories about his time in the octagon, working for Vince McMahon and the WWE, and why he’s still able to tie competitors in knots today. God bless America!
