This installment of The Five Count featured an exclusive interview with singer Tommy Roe. Known as “The King of Bubblegum,” Tommy is best known for hits like Sweet Pea, Sheila, and Dizzy. He’s also a member of the Georgia Music Hall of Fame and has been recognized by the Rockabilly Hall of Fame. During the show he discussed creating the “bubblegum” genre, touring with The Beatles, his thoughts on today’s popular music, and his new book “From Cabbagetown to Tinseltown and Places in Between.” It was jam up and jelly tight!
During the rest of the show we explained why so many models listen to The Five Count, tried to figure out who our favorite celebrity guests have been over the years, Ton shared stories about all the fights he got into in high school, and we discussed setting up a Patreon page.
