The Five Count recently had a chance to speak with both Jack Hues and Nick Feldman. Collectively, Jack and Nick are best known as the band Wang Chung. Known for hits like Dance Hall Days, Let’s Go! and Everybody Have Fun Tonight, Wang Chung have been making music since the late ’70s. This installment of The Five Count featured an exclusive interview with Tom Bailey. Tom is best known as the frontman for the Thompson Twins. Known for hits like In the Name of Love, Lies, Doctor! Doctor!, and Hold Me Now, the Thompson Twins have sold millions of albums dating back to the late ‘70s. During the show he discussed playing with the Thompson Twins at the height of their success, his decision to start writing new pop music after taking a lengthy hiatus, and his new album Science Fiction. During the rest of the show Ton announced his possible candidacy for city council, we discussed who we would invite to The Five Count Christmas Variety Show, and we celebrated Ton’s birthday! He doesn’t sound a day over 60!

With a career dating back to the 1970s, Eddie is best known for hits like Baby Hold On, Two Tickets to Paradise, Shakin’, and Take Me Home Tonight. During the final edition of The Five Count for 2017 we reflected on our achievements over the past year, Ton discussed the best oil brands and proper idle times for cold weather driving, we regretted missing Crazy Town performing in Mankato at the same time as The Five Count, and played our favorite new wave jams!
