This episode of The Five Count was for the children. During the show we played our favorite children songs, discussed who would be on our Mt. Rushmore of cartoon characters, explained how not to be offensive when ordering food at Mexican restaurants, and Ton told the story of how he almost played Joey Lawrence’s role on the TV show Blossom. We also spent 20 minutes reminiscing about fruit pies!
This episode of The Five Count featured an exclusive interview with actress Melendy Britt. Melendy is best known as the voice of “She-Ra” on the cartoon She-Ra: Princess of Power. She also appeared on TV shows like Weird Science, Cheers, and Gilmore Girls. During the show she discussed how she got her start in acting, working for the Filmation company, and why “She-Ra” was a great role model for kids. For the honor of Grayskull!
During the rest of the show we discussed Ton’s new job as replacement Hugh Hefner, we shared our various tips and techniques for waterbed courting, and we went on an adventure with He-Man and She-Ra to learn the secret of the sword! We also coughed a lot into the mics.
